Attending a Volunteer Information Session is great way to learn more about Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland’s history, programs, and funding. We encourage all those interested in volunteering to learn more about our mission and the vital role our volunteers play in helping to fulfill that mission.

Participants attend sessions online through a webinar or a teleconference led by our Volunteer Support Services team. Instructions on how to access the session are emailed to registrants the week of the information session.
A few things you need to know about our information sessions:
- Held weekly on Tuesdays at 12pm or Wednesdays at 5pm (alternating weeks)
- Sessions are approximately one hour long
- Volunteers who deliver meals, grocery shop, or make client wellness calls are required to attend a session prior to volunteer start date
