The Teen Ambassador Program (TAP) is back! Now in its second year, this successful program provides leadership experience, professional development skills, and service hours to incoming 9th – 12th graders. Through interactive group sessions, teens will learn about Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland’s Operations and Mission, nonprofits, advocacy, and using their voices to elevate and support causes they are passionate about. The afternoon will involve hands-on service in our meal packing room, allowing teens to be part of the action.
Leslie J., summer 2020 TAP parent says, “I believe TAP is a fantastic program that allows teenagers to learn meaningful information and life lessons about food insecurity, inequity, and nonprofit management.”
The program takes place at the main office at 515 S. Haven Street, Baltimore, MD 21224.
Learning sessions will be outdoors. Masks required. Sessions run Monday-Thursday, 11 am-5pm
Session 2: July 12 – July 22
