"Growing up, I had firsthand experience of what it meant to have someone deliver meals to our family when we were struggling. I have since realized the amount of grace and dignity that was provided as well as a sense of love from our community. I serve with Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland (MOWCM) to be able to pay it forward, to provide that grace and dignity, that sense of love and care coming from the community to others. I have always believed that the greatest gift we can offer one another is the gift of hope. Serving as a member of the board for MOWCM allows me to give the gift of hope for so many throughout our region. I can think of no finer service to humankind than this. "
