Federal budget proposals call for deep cuts to Medicaid, SNAP, and the Social Services Block Grant- programs that help Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland keep older adults nourished, safe, and connected. At the same time, federal staffing cuts are stripping away key support systems behind the scenes.
We haven’t stopped. And we won’t
But the pressure is real. Seniors are asking, “Will my meals still come?”
And we’re working every day to make sure the answer stays yes!
