Home Delivered Meals

Dedicated volunteers deliver two daily meals, a hot lunch, and a cold supper, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday. These nutritionally balanced meals supply two-thirds of the daily nutrient requirement, with low sodium, fat, and sugar, all calorie-controlled.

Services cater to individuals of any age or economic status on a regular or temporary basis. Special dietary needs such as no pork, no fish, and texture-modified options are accommodated, ensuring inclusivity and personalized care.

Home Repairs

Aging in place safely is also a key pillar of our mission. That’s why we provide home repairs and modifications to reduce hazards and improve mobility within the home. Installing grab bars, fixing stair railings, or repairing unsafe flooring can make a world of difference for someone at risk of falling. These interventions not only prevent injuries but also allow individuals to feel confident and secure in their living environment.

Call Connections

Social isolation is a serious threat to the well-being of older adults and can contribute to cognitive decline, depression, and even physical illness. Our Call Connections program offers clients regular, friendly check-ins, helping to combat loneliness and create a sense of community and care. These conversations also serve as a lifeline, allowing us to identify issues early and offer appropriate support.

Grocery Assistance

Our Grocery Shopping Assistance program adds another layer of independence and dignity. For clients who are able and wish to cook, but cannot easily access grocery stores, we provide essential food items right to their doors. This service supports autonomy and allows individuals to maintain familiar routines in their own kitchens—something that contributes significantly to emotional health and identity.

Kibble Connection

In partnership with Maryland SPCA, volunteers deliver pet food every three months. We recognize that pets are vital companions for many seniors. Our Kibble Connection, pet food delivery service, ensures that our clients never have to choose between feeding themselves and feeding their beloved animals. These furry companions provide emotional support, a sense of routine, and joy—all of which contribute to mental well-being and resilience.

Together in Care

Together in Care is a nutrition and support program for adults whose, medical condition is affected by nutrition and other health related social needs.  Offered in partnership with hospitals, primary care practices, and insurance providers, Together In Care is designed to help aging adults effectively manage chronic illnesses such as diabetes and hypertension and support those transitioning home from the hospital or rehabilitation center.  Program participants receive:

  • Medically tailored meals delivered to the home
  • Comprehensive assessment and individual support services

Together in Care is a demonstrated best practice shown to reduce health care utilization and cost through validated research.
