Double Tax Benefit
For a charitable gift of appreciated securities (stocks), a donor is entitled to an income tax deduction for the full fair market value of the securities up to 30% of adjusted gross income, with any balance carried forward up to an additional five years.
Donating stocks can provide a double tax benefit. In addition to any income-tax deduction for the property’s fair-market value, you may also be able to avoid capital gains taxes.

Tax Considerations
Please be aware that we do not determine the tax-deductible amount for donors contributing shares of stock. Upon completion of the stock transfer, we will provide you with a letter acknowledging the gift, including the date of the transfer. Consult your accountant, attorney, or financial advisor to determine the value of your gift for IRS or other purposes.

How We Serve
We provide nutritious meals to people who are homebound and unable to shop or cook for themselves – because of age, disability or illness.

Volunteer
We empower seniors to maintain their independence with our “More than a meal™” service. Beyond food, we provide resources, education, and home safety assessments. Our goal is to enable seniors to live safely and comfortably in their own homes for as long as possible.
